Our fantastic setting is at the heart of our wonderful village. Our curriculum is designed around our children: their interests, their fascinations, their previous experiences. We prioritise high quality interactions, as well as having opportunities for adult led teaching in areas such as Phonics & Maths. Our children's learning is supported through carefully resourced continuous provision with enhancements, to aid the development of skills and knowledge. Our curriculum is progressional, building on what the children have been previously taught. It is also designed to be responsive to the needs of our children, families and community. We pride ourselves on having strong home-school communication links and are constantly asking for parent’s and carer's to share children’s interests at home so that we can develop and further these within the classroom setting. 

We give priority to creating a stimulating learning environment for our children. We want the children to learn through purposeful, real-world activities so we take great care to provide a wealth of opportunities for both indoors and out, for children to explore and question the world about them. We use open-ended, authentic resources to ensure children can use their imaginations to their full potential, encouraging children to thrive. We endeavour for our nurturing environment to be an extension of the home setting so that children feel comfortable, familiar and safe within the setting. Our Pre-School is adjacent to Condover C.E. Primary school; we have a close working relationship with the school and, as such, have access to some of their fantastic facilities - school field, forest school area, etc.
